What to expect

Join professional opera singer, Claire Turner, for an evening of well-known favourites from the world of opera and musical theatre in the beautiful surrounds of Olney's Cowper and Newton Museum gardens. Bring your own picnic or snacks and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or non-alcoholic alternative included in the ticket price. Claire studied voice at the Royal College of Music, and has sung with numerous opera companies, including Welsh National Opera and Longborough Festival Opera. Having trained initially as a Mezzo-Soprano, Claire now performs as a Soprano, singing regularly in concert, with performances having included Handel Messiah with the Orchestra of WNO, Mozart Requiem, Pergolesi Stabat Mater, Mozart Coronation Mass and many more. She also recorded and filmed a singing role in ‘Capturing Mary’, a Stephen Poliakoff drama, which was broadcast by the BBC.
