Breathe, Sing, Thrive: Unlock the Healing Power of Your Voice Discover how slow, conscious breathwork can deepen your connection to your singing voice and support your overall wellbeing. Whether you're a seasoned singer or simply love to sing, this workshop invites you to explore how the breath—the very foundation of vocal expression—can enhance both your voice and your vitality. Research increasingly shows that breathwork offers far-reaching benefits for mental, emotional, and physical health. When combined with singing, it becomes a powerful practice for self-expression, nervous system regulation, and holistic wellness. In this nourishing session, you’ll be guided through breath and voice practices, gentle movement, and relaxation techniques designed to help you: • Free and strengthen your singing voice • Deepen your breath awareness • Cultivate a calm, balanced nervous system • Connect to your body and breath as instruments of sound This workshop is open to anyone aged 16 and over and welcomes all levels of vocal experience—from complete beginners to confident singers. The session includes space for questions, reflection, and shared exploration in a supportive, relaxed environment. The workshop is led by Claire Turner of Compassionate Voice, Claire is an experienced opera singer and singing teacher, she is a qualified Breath-Body-Mind Breathwork teacher who has additionally completed an MA in Voice Pedagogy, Singing for Health and Wellbeing, and has had her research surrounding breath-focused singing sessions published in peer-reviewed international journal, Australian Voice.
